Our school has been an Early Literacy Grant recipient school aimed at getting all students to benchmark by 3rd grade. We have seen dramatic increases in our Dibels scores which indicate proficiency in reading. We work closely with the Colorado Department of Education to make sure our curriculum is research based and approved. We utilize an explicit curriculum for literacy called Imagine It. For math we utilize our district curriculum Go Math and a curriculum called Being A Writer that utilizes the workshop model. All other curriculum is district approved curriculum for science and social studies based on the Colorado State Standards.
